I love a time-saving hair hack and this really is the fastest way to curl hair extensions.
Lately, I've discovered a renewed love for clip-in hair extensions. To get the best effect though, I do think you need to have a wave or curl in your hair to help them blend in.
But curling a headful of extensions is tricky, especially when you're not used to dealing with so much hair.
Hair hack – The fastest way to curl hair extensions
The hack is simple: curl your extensions first and then clip them in to your hair.
Your natural hair type is often different to the extensions. They'll take different times to curl. By curling them separately, you can get a more even result.
But how do you curl extensions when you're getting ready on your own?
Shut your extensions in a drawer!
I know it looks a bit creepy, but it works!
The clips will stop the hair from slipping out of the drawer and will allow you to curl your hair extensions easily.
Alternatively, you can use a skirt hanger to hold your extensions up as well!
You can curl your extensions while they're in your hair, but I find curling them separately makes it easy to get perfect curls in each hair type.
I've been loving the different braids and styles I can do with the mermaid-length hair I get instantly with extensions. Being able to style them separately and keep them hanging, ready to wear, make is so easy.
Have you tried clip-in hair extensions? Do you have any tips or hacks to make them quicker to wear?

PPS. Thanks to Irresistible Me for sending me these honey blonde extensions, which are almost a perfect match for my hair. I'm wearing the 20" 200g set.
