The Women's Granite Gear Crown2 60L backpack (37 oz) is the lightest weight backpack available today that has a women's-specific hip belt and shoulder straps as a standard option. That shouldn't be surprising, since Granite Gear has a history of offering more lightweight women's-specific multi-day backpacks than any other backpack maker. The Women's Crown2 has S-shaped shoulders straps and a sternum strap that curve around women's breasts, rather than smashing them flat like backpack shoulder straps designed for men. In addition, it has an adjustable length hip belt (see below) with large sewn-on pockets that flares upward to wrap around women's curvier hips.
